Particular in sour food? Siam/thai style steamed fish (暹式蒸鱼） at Ko Liu Siang Restaurant should be able to whet your appetite completely. The fresh fish from the sea is steamed in a specially cooked soup, where the soup has much been influenced by thai cuisine of its sour cooking style.

The fish is served on a charcoal steamboat, where there is a bowl of soup beside the charcoal steamboat for you to refill the soup. "The extreme sour taste of the soup really gets up my appetite." is the words that you can always hear from the people who has given it a first try. You will be enticed by this cuisine to come back again.

Besides the siam/thai style steamed fish, there is another famous cuisine called black pepper shelled shrimp (黑胡椒虾羔) that must be in your order. You might be wrong on concluding it as yet another strong black pepper taste dish. You will be surprised to taste the freshness of the shelled shrimp (虾羔) with some sweet amid the mild black pepper taste. Every ingredient makes this cuisine perfect.

Another special cuisine is the wing bean salad, in chinese is 四角豆沙律， in malay is Kerabu Cipir. This cuisine is not as common as mango salad and can hardly be found in elsewhere. The wing bean salad tastes different from the mango salad and is worth a try as an appetizer.
