Nasi Dagang is a rice specialty of Terengganu. The Dish is made by cooking rice and glutinous rice together, to which is then added coconut cream once it is cooked. It is eaten with its own specially made side dishes of tuna curry and a light vegetable pickle. Simplicity is its essence.
Compared to Nasi Lemak, Nasi Dagang is more creamy and the rice is more fragrance and softer.
We were recommended by the owner of the Ten Inn Homestay of this stall which is situated along Jalan Sultan Sulaiman, Kuala Terengganu. This is just a typical roadside stall and its decoration is not fascinated at all. However, it is packed with customers. Maybe this stall is most welcomed by local folks of the delicious rice served at that area.
